Introduction

Our Society is known as the Society of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is registered with the government of India as a non-profitable organization. The old registration number is 10/1967 and New Reg. No.55/2017. Our accounts are annually audited and submitted to the Government of India. Our Head Quarters is at Vellore, Tamil Nadu, and India.

To reach out our service to the poor and the neglected people we have opened various service centers in backward and undeveloped areas of the country.

The Objectives of our Society

To provide good educational opportunity to the economically disadvantaged groups, so that through this education, they may become empowered to face the challenges and to lead their life successfully.
To improve the leadership qualities and skills of these students.
To tap the talents among the poor tribal children that go mostly unnoticed.
To provide an environment that is not alien to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes while exposing themselves to the education relevant to the future.
To build confident, well equipped, disciplined children to face the future.
To end unemployment and underemployment among the poor people.
To provide Medical care to the people in the deserted areas.
To provide higher education to the poor people and make them to stand up in life.
To empower the marginalized people.

Society of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has been looking after the planned activities and periodically undergo for evaluation. So, its activities and achievements are high and the numbers of beneficiaries are increasing year by year. We mainly focus three major activities through our Society.
